Peppermint Tuesday

So. I just awoke from a very restless night's sleep. It seems I do anything but sleep at night, and I don't mean that as a good thing, you know.

Anyway... I sent my images over to the publisher yesterday, so hopefully it'll work out for them. And me. With so much silence last week, I was worried. You see... I was afraid they weren't going to pay me, since the question was avoided for so long. Also, everyone telling me they were trying to screw me over didn't help.
It's not so much the money that's important to me (not that I don't need it), but the gesture. If I did it for free I'd feel I was being used, and that I wouldn't do. The gesture is very important. So I accepted their offer straight away, even though it wasn't a lot, because it's important to me that it was something.

So, I did some Christmas shopping yesterday. It's nice to get started, it's no good waiting too long, these things seem to require some planning. And it was kind of fun. I had a very strict saving regime this fall, for the trip to Canada. But one has to let that go a bit when it's Christmas.

And I'm really in a Christmasy mood today, watching this children's show "Jul i Valhall", for my not so Christian Christmas needs. Nice.

And finally... Does anyone know which Norwegian grocery store chain's most likely to sell peppermint oil? I can't make candy without it! And I can't seem to track it down. Now that's a crisis.
